A pair of Indianola football athletes were honored by the Iowa Football Coaches Association/Iowa Print Sports Writers Association and selected to the class 4A All-State Team as announced earlier this week, as senior defensive tackle Wyatt DeWitt made the First Team and junior offensive lineman Lathan McDaniel was selected to the Second Team.
The Indianola football team had a stellar season in 2023, making the playoffs after a second-place district finish, but will need to replace a lot of leaders going into next year.
