Indianola girls bowler Vicki Andrews won a state title as a sophomore last year, and made a return trip bowling with the Railsplitters of Des Moines Lincoln as a junior but ran into the worst luck of the tournament and was knocked out in the first round.

The Indianola baseball team loses standout pitcher Luke Rockhold to graduation, but will bring back a large part of their pitching depth for next year which is expected to be a big strength.
