The #6 Indians boys can clinch at least a share of the conference title tonight with a win, and they will try to match their hard-fought win on the road earlier this year where they defeated the Mustangs 46-45 on a game-winner at the buzzer.

The Indianola boys basketball team held Grinnell to just five first quarter points as they dominated the Tigers Tuesday night at home winning 76-45, while the girls couldn’t keep up with the high flying Tigers falling 64-45 on senior night for both squads.

The Indianola basketball teams are back home tonight after four straight road games, hosting the Tigers of Grinnell. The Indians boys dropped their first conference game of the season last Friday at Norwalk, but will try to replicate their dominant second-half performance against the Tigers earlier this year where they held Grinnell to just sixteen points and scored 36.
Norwalk hands Indianola first conference loss, 59-49
Defensive pressure and an early fourth-quarter run sparked by two Jack Brown three-pointers gave Norwalk a big Little Hawkeye conference win on Friday night, Jan. 27 in Norwalk, 59-49. The Warriors pulled away late after a back-and-forth game featuring the fewest points scored by Indianola since Jan 6 and the second-lowest total of the season for Indianola.
